María Lucía Ortiz, known as LA LVCHA, is a conscious DJ, creative producer, and urban shaman from Colombia.
Dedicated to creating healing environments through music, nature, and beauty, she serves humanity by sharing her medicine; music.
La Lvcha began her journey as a DJ in 2012 in Bogotá, and by 2014, she was already making waves with the release of her first music video, “Feel for You”, heavily influenced by the neo-psychedelia of that era. Over the years after moving to Barcelona, her sound has evolved, constantly expanding as she embraced new musical landscapes. With creativity flowing, she started blending electronic beats with world music, producing her debut EP “Subrealidad” and co-producing “Lumbalu” with Sonikgroove under the Gozalow label.
What makes La Lvcha truly stand out is her unique fusion of folklore, mysticism, and vibrant color. Her sets are rich tapestries of oriental beats, Latin American grooves, and tropical world sounds, reflecting a clear vision of the global rhythms emerging today. Her adaptability has earned her a spot at some of the world’s biggest festivals like Fusion, DGTL, Rototom, International Dub Gathering, Brunch Electronik, Primavera Sound x WTFOC, La´Cultural and many more.
Along the way, she’s shared the stage with some of the industry's heavyweights like Acid Pauli, Blondish, Galletas Calientes, Todd Terje, Nico Stojan, Panko, Dani Boom, Alicia Carrera, to name just a few.
Beyond the decks, La Lvcha has dived into sound design for mapping installations, including Llum BCN Festival, and has graced the airwaves on stations like Dublab Radio, Radio Chigüiro, and Electronic Groove. In 2020, she took her craft further, embarking on an artistic residency at Institute for X (Denmark) where she launched a community radio called Public Affair.
She collaborate with feminist collectives and labels such as Revuletas Records, Femnoise and Las Pibas Producen, continuing to push boundaries and redefine the intersection of music, culture, and activism.
